General Motors and Vector, SCM honor NLM with their Special
Recognition Award
NLM provided uninterrupted material flow to the General Motors
North American Plants, despite major challenges, such as the Northeastern
Blackout, natural disasters, and capacity issues. During such times, each shipment was
essential to meet the objective of protecting production at the Plants. NLM’s customized web based systems enabled
proper mode selection, award to the least cost, authorized carrier, and
extensive milestone management.
Experienced NLM Event Specialists collaborated with General Motors and
Vector, SCM to ensure special instructions and critical updates were
